Step by Step: Badge Install

Most installs take under 30 minutes.

1

Remove Your Factory Badge

Carefully remove the factory badge from your vehicle. Most badges are held on by clips or adhesive — use a plastic trim tool or fishing line to avoid scratching the paint.

2

Clean The Surface

Thoroughly clean the surface behind where the badge sits. Remove any old adhesive residue, dirt, and grease. Use isopropyl alcohol for best results and allow to fully dry before continuing.

💡 Tip: A clean surface is essential for the adhesive to bond properly. Don't skip this step.
3

Fit The New Badge

Clip the new LED badge into place. On most vehicles it will clip straight into the factory mounting points replacing the original badge.

💡 Tip: If the badge doesn't clip into your specific model, trim the clips off the back of the badge and mount it using the supplied double sided sticky pad or your choice of adhesive. Press firmly and hold for 30 seconds.
4

Run The Wiring

Run the badge's positive wire to your chosen power source. The badge can be wired to your headlights, parking lights, ignition, or any accessory circuit you want it to turn on with.

⚠️ Important: Most engine bay fuses are 24hr constant power — meaning they stay on even when the vehicle is off. If you tap into an engine bay fuse, make sure to choose an ignition-switched fuse, or run the wire inside the cab to an ignition-switched circuit to avoid draining your battery.
5

Connect Via Piggyback Fuse Adapter

The easiest way to wire the badge is using the supplied piggyback fuse adapter. Simply find a suitable ignition-switched fuse in your fuse box, plug the piggyback adapter in, and connect the badge wire. No cutting or splicing required.

💡 Tip: Use a test light or multimeter to identify which fuses in your fuse box are ignition-switched (only live when the key is on) vs constant power (always live). Interior fuses like the radio or interior lights are usually ignition-switched and ideal for this.
6

Test & Enjoy

Turn your vehicle on and check that the badge lights up correctly. If wired to headlights, turn your lights on to test. Stand back and enjoy the glow.
